REGISTRATION

The Studio offers pre-registered classes in beginning Swing, Ballroom
and Argentine Tango.  These classes are taught in 6 or 8 week sessions and
 are quite popular, therefore advance registration is recommended.  The
entire Salsa program, as well as all of the intermediate and advanced level classes in the school, are conducted as ongoing classes.  This means that you may join them at any time.  No partners are required for any of our classes,
with the exception of our Strictly Ballroom class. You may pre-register for any
of our sessions online thru Paypal on our website, or by sending us a check in the mail, or you can stop by our facilities and register for class in person.  You are always welcome to observe any of our classes.  We suggest to all our students that they show up at least   10 minutes early in order to facilitate parking and sign-in for class. 

POLICY

1.  Class cards purchased for our ongoing classes are good for 4 months from the date of purchase.
2.  There are no credits for unused or left-over classes from any of our 4, 6, or 8 week beginning sessions or extension courses.
3.  Private Lessons are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. 10 private lesson cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
4.  Group and private lessons are 55 minutes in length. 
5. After you have confirmed your private lesson, the studio does not send any further notification or reminder. You are responsible for remembering the day and time of your appointment.
6.  Private lessons must be paid for in advance. 2 hr. private lessons must be paid 3 days in advance or your lesson is cancelled. If you should need to cancel, 24 hour cancellation notice is required on a single private lesson. 48 hour cancellation notice is required if you are canceling a 2 hour private lesson. You will be charged for same day cancellations.
7.  Any and all cancellations of private lessons must be sent via email to thirdstreetdance@aol.com. Proof of your cancellation email must be presented if  there is a dispute over whether the private was cancelled or not.
8.  Class cards are non-transferable, and are valid for regular group classes only and may not be used for Bootcamps and Workshops.
9.  Prepaid "Gift of Dance" series for group dance classes or private lessons are good for 1 year from the date of purchase and there are no refunds. The "Gift of Dance" is valid for 4 months upon activation. A gift of 10 private lessons is valid for 6 months from the date of activation.
10.  Groupon and Bloomspot Vouchers are valid for the purchased option only. One groupon or bloomspot voucher is permitted per person. Groupon and Bloomspot vouchers are valid for ongoing classes only (not for sessions). Groupon and Bloomspot Vouchers may be applied to a group session only if student begins on the start date of the session and purchases the remaining classes in the session. Groupon and Bloomspot Vouchers expire on August 31st, 2012. As of September 1st, 2012 unredeemed vouchers are equivalent to the price paid at the time of purchase.
11.  There are no refunds.
12. Management reserves the right to refuse admission.

DRESS ATTIRE

Dress is casual.  Some people come straight from work, while others come from home. You will, however, need to wear a good pair of shoes. Stay away from sticky tennis shoes, platform shoes or floppy shoes.  Shoes with leather, suede or smooth rubber soles will make it easier to dance on our hardwood floors.

The studio will stay open for rentals to accommodate client's needs
